1. How to place an order in JK Tea Shop?

 

 

a) Place an order

 

To purchase products in JK Tea Shop is very simple; first you need to register in our website; or you can log in by your facebook account ; After registration, below is the simple process on how to purchase in JK Tea Shop.


First is to Click the products and add them to card. 

 

After click add to cart, then it will add to the shopping card automatically, and there is a sign showing the successful adding at the left bottom corner in the website. 
 


At this time, it will show clearly the total items you purchased and total amount in the upper right corner of the website. 

 

 

b) How to check out

 

After you have selected the items, you can click checkout button.   at the upper right corner. Then it goes to another page showing the order details & estimated delivery costs (Below)

 

 

At this moment, you can choose to check out with Paypal quickly; or continue to checkout , as there will be several more payment methods to choose.

 

If you choose to check out with Paypal, then it will automatically connect to Paypal page; However, the registered airmail is our default delivery way in our system.

 

 

 

 If you do not want to choose registered airmail(with tracking number), then pls click the  button; there are more delivery options for you to choose.

 

 

 

After click "Continue Checkout", then another pages comes out. At this page, you can change your shipping, billing address, using discount coupon, choose the shipping & payment method; After all these are confirmed, pls click button, and it will go the choose payment method page automatically. After payment is made, then this order is successfully checked out. It will shows clearly your order number and total order amount again. 

 

 

 

c) Can I ship my orders to different addresses?

 

Yes, you can. In your account, during check out, you can change the delivery address before check out. Alternatively, you can manage your address book under your account.(Below)


 

d) Is it safe to shop online?

 

We have installed GeoTrust Secure Sockets Layer (GeoTrust SSL), the industry standard for secure commerce transactions to transmit your Paypal or credit cards information over the Internet. SSL encrypts your Paypal or credit card number and other personal details during the transaction process so that the information cannot be read as it travels over the Internet. Every purchase you make in JK tea shop is secured and safe.

2. About tea

 

 

a) Freshness and high quality guaranty in tea

 

Providing fine Chinese loose leaves tea to international tea lovers is always our mission. Fine tea is not easy to source, even in China. All of our teas are sourced directly by our expert teams via various tea trips to different tea-producing areas. We are tea farmers close friends, with high respect to their work & craftsmanship; and fair trades with them.


Besides, all our products will be double-checked by our packers before shipping to you. All of our teas are super well-stored, like Anxi Oolong tea, green teas, which are all kept in the freezer to maintain its best freshness. We guarantee the freshness and high quality of our teas except Pu Er tea, some aged Oolong tea and others) as stated in our products description.

 

 

b) Are your teas are from farmers directly?

 

Most of our teas are from our cooperative tea farms or small family workshops directly, where they care for the eco-environment diversity and has high skills in making the teas in the traditional way, except some teas are from the factory, such as Dayi& Xiaguan Pu Er tea. That is why we can guarantee the competitive price while high quality tea.

 

 

c) Do your teas contain caffeine?


Yes, all real teas have caffeine and theine. The exception is herbal teas, which are technically herbal tisanes, because it is not the leaves from camellia tea trees. However, most of the caffeine in tea can be dissolved by the catechin. But caffeine is not a bad component at all, it can stimulate the central nerves systems, promote blood circulation, speed up the process of interior body elimination via quickening discharge of urine and others.

 

If you really don’t like the caffeine, then you are recommended not to sip the first two infusions of tea liquid, as it contains 90% of the brewed-out caffeine.

 

 

d) Are your teas organic?


Only some of our teas are organic and these can be identified by the “ certified organic” statement in their description. You can contact us for the current list of organic teas we carry. However, most our teas from tea farmers plantation far exceed the organic requirement, but the tea farmers don't  apply for the organic certifications for some reasons, such as economic reasons, self-consciousness, and others.

 

 

3. About my order

 


a) How do I track my package and estimated delivery times?


Once our couriers collect the packages, we will send you an email to notify you the delivery of the goods and provide the tracking No. and tracking link if there is any.

b) Do I get a confirmation letter after I place an order?


Yes, we will send the order confirmation letter for you after you place the order, so that you can check all those detailed things before delivery.

 

 

c) After I place an order—can I still cancel?

 

If our couriers have not collected your order, your order can be cancelled. But you should send us an email to notify us earlier.


If your order has been sent out, I am sorry you can’t cancel your order. Should you still wish to cancel, please return the ordered parcels after you receive it. We will then happily credit you the value of the items selected, minus the round trip shipping costs.

 

 

d) How can I check our order status?


You can check your order status in your account; like if the order is processing, processing is showed on the website. We will also send you a notified email after we send your order.

 

 

e) I received my order, but some goods were damaged. What can I do?


We are sorry to hear that. In this case, please contact our sales representative via email or others, providing detailed information of the damaged ones, such as the pictures of the damaged goods. We will then offer the best solution to satisfy you.

 


4. Shipping information

 


a) Do you send the goods to international areas?


We can ship to most places & areas in the world. Note that there are some restrictions on some products and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. If there is a place we are not able to send, we will send a notified email after you place an order with us and refund the payment back to you.

 

 

b) How can I check the shipping cost before I place an order?


When you place an order, you can check the estimated shipping cost during check out. Then you can see the shipping cost and the delivery dates based on the shipping options you choose. Or you can check our shipping rates spreadsheet in our shipping info page.

 

 

c) How many international delivery options you provide?


Currently, we only adopt China Post / Singapore Post / Hongkong Post as our default delivery partners. We offer China post Air,  EMS and UK Royal Mail service. If you wish your items shipped by other deliveries companies, such as DHL, UPS, FEDEX, please contact us beforehand, and then we can quote the price accordingly.
 
Air is a comparatively fast delivery with competitive prices. It can be delivered to almost all countries and delivers the goods to clients house or slated addresses.  Delivery time: around 15- 25days.

 

China Post is not available in Taiwan, Marco and HK. But we can provide cheaper delivery cost to the three regions. Pls contact us before placing an order, so we can let you know the delivery cost.

e) Late or Lost Orders


If your purchase does not arrive within these specified times below, and the package was never signed for ( i.e. never delivered), we will provide a full refund of the purchase cost and shipping.

 

SAL              after 60 days of goods sent

 

Air                after 35 days of goods sent(except some countries like Russian, Ukrain, Latvia and so on)
 
EMS             after 20 days of goods sent
 
Royal Mail    after 25 days of goods sent

 

 

5. Return Policy


We want you to be happy with all the items you purchased.

 

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 7 days of receipt of your order that you don't wish to keep, with the exception of tea samples. Note that the returned products must be in their original condition and packaging. At this time, we can only refund the items money back to you and do not cover the cost of shipping the unwanted items back to us; unless there is an error on our part for the items (such as you received an incorrect or defective item, etc), in this case, we will also pay the return shipping costs.

 

We will refund the goods payment after we receive the sent-back parcel, which might take around 15-20 days later.

 

If you need to return an item, please simply email to our sales representatives. They will contact you upon receipt of your email.

We do not store any of your personal information nor do we use cookie to track your activities while you are visiting our website. We use this information to analyze traffic trends. None of the information collected in this manner can be used to ascertain personal identity of our visitors.

7. Parcels Packaging

 


Tea packaging


Consolidated packaging is our next priority next to products quality. We pack all our loose-leaves tea in heat-sealed aluminum foil bags to ensure the freshness of the teas. For some teas, if vacuum is necessary, then we will vacuum to pack them. Only the thick, low transparency aluminum foil bags are used here. Besides, if tins packaging is necessary, we will also provide tins packaging.

 

Cartons packaging


We use the strengthened boxes to protect the items safety in transit. Again, inside the cartons, we will use the bubble foams to protect the teas from friction or crush. Outside the cartons, we will use the plastic straps to consolidate the packaging and avoid damage.
