    Brewing Method

    1. For the brewing vessel, it is recommended that you use a tall, straight glass cup so that you can see the delicate tea buds of the Mao Feng.

    2. For a glass cup of about 200 ml, use 2-3 grams of the green tea depending on how strong you want it to be. The temperature for the first infusion should be anywhere from 85 to 90°C or 185 to 194F and should only take about 2 to 3 minutes. On the other hand, for its second infusion, you can use the same temperature but infuse it for 3 to 4 minutes. The Mao Feng can be infused more than three times.

    3. To brew Mao Feng, you first need to warm up your glass cup using some hot water. Once the glass cup is warm, you can pour out the hot water you used to warm your cup. Next, you simply put some of the tea buds in your cup and give it a gentle stir to make the aroma come out. You then pour into the cup a third of your 85°C hot water. Gently stir the tea for about 10 seconds. Finally, add the rest of your hot water to complete its first infusion.
