    Ben Shan Wu Long Tea

Wu long tea, also known as Ben Shan Oolong, (literally refers to original mountain) is one of the main Oolong teas from Anxi county, except of the Tie Guan Yin. Also lightly-oxidated, this tea is high in its floral aroma and similiar taste like Tie Guan Yin. A good tea to taste and drink at night or in the morning or when you are thirsty. This wu long tea leaves are yellow-green in color and are like a tight bold ball in shape. It is produced by an unexampled process. The leaves are first dried under the strong sun and are lightly oxidized before twisting and curling. The leaves are lightly roasted as well allowing the complex in the tea to give its full taste when brewed with a touch of your love. Our wu long tea comes directly from the tea farmer in Xiping town, where it produces the best quality of Ben Shan Oolong. It is vacuumed & packed 10g/bag; and stored in our freezer before handing over to our clients. So they are super freshness.

    Taste

The taste of wu long tea leaves is both sweet and floral, with a mineral snappiness. Once you take the taste of this wu long tea you will be forever in love with it. The color of our wu long tea leaves is much attractive with a composition of blotchy light and dark green, which signals that these tea leaves will be lively-tasting and fresh. In the cup, the color of this tea soup is clear yellowish green which when caught by the eyes floods the mouth with saliva.

    How to steep

The wu long tea is famous for its capacity of re-steeping and its wonderful flavor. As such, there is no particular perfect method of steeping. But this method gives a good taste. Here are some steps.

    1. Choose your tea set in which you want to take your soothing tea.

    2. Put loose tea leaves into the teapot. You can take 1 teaspoon of rolled tea leaves or 2 teaspoons of open large leaves for every 6 ounces of water. Now rinse the wu long tea leaves first with a sort of warm water.

    3. Heat the water to about 180F to 200F. The water you use for tea perhaps is also as important as the type of tea leaves you select. The water may be filtered, distilled or tap but it must taste good. Avoid using distilled water as it may taste flat. Thus, impairing the taste of your tea.

    4. Now add the water to rinsed tea leaves and let it steep. The time of steeping depends upon hou much-concentrated tea you prefer.

    5. Enjou your tea.
